- The following
rules are intended to provide an enjoyable Cabin and Camping experience for you
and your neighbours.
-
-
Registration: All
campers, cabin renters, visitors and guests must be registered upon
arrival (9 am - 8 pm) and prior to entering the cabin or
campground. Registered guests are responsible that all campground rules
are followed.
-
- Check in:
The cabins are available from 2 p.m. Checkout
is at 11 a.m. Arrival for the campground
should be before 9 p.m. Checkout of campground is at 12 p.m. (noon)
-
- Dogs:
Dogs
must ALWAYS be 'on leash'
when not inside your RV and
are not allowed in any of the buildings (bathhouse, cabins). There is a fine of $ 50
when the dog is 'off leash' or in a building. We charge $ 6 a dog
per day.
Barking dogs are a nuisance to other campers.
Dogs are not
allowed when staying in one of the cabins. Owners will be totally
responsible for their pets at all times. Pets cannot be left unattended
at any time, and must be on a leash. You may not leave your pet inside
your RV if you leave the campground; they often howl or bark until you
return. All pet litter must be cleaned up immediately, and those not in
compliance will be asked to leave the park. Noisy pets will not be
allowed to stay, and only one warning will be issued prior to request to
remove pet from park.
-
- We do not allow
pets in the bathhouse or cabins.
-
- Bathrooms:
The bathrooms with showers and toilets are situated between cabin 6 and
cabin 1 and down at the campground. Use is free of charge, but please
keep them clean and tidy for the other guests. Please don’t leave towels
or toiletries inside the bathrooms. We take pride in the cleanliness of
our facilities and we would appreciate your help in maintaining them
-
- Quiet
hours: The quiet hours
are between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. The
quality of rest and relaxation is important to all guests, so please
refrain from loud noises and disturbances during this period. All radios
must be at minimum volume settings, and be aware that normal speaking
voices carry. Please respect your neighbours' right to a quiet and
relaxed visit to the Horse Creek Ranch.
-
- Horses:
If you bring your own horses to Horse Creek Ranch, please stall them in
the provided box stalls. Please clean the stables when leaving. If you
want to do a warm-up with your horse before going on trail, please use
the arena. Walk, don't ride horses through the campground.
-
-
Campfires: All fires must
be contained inside the metal fire rings located on each site. Campfires
must be kept knee-high or below, and not left unattended. Fire rings
must not be used to dispose of cans, bottles, or other household trash.
Fire rings are not to be moved without prior approval from management.
All fires must be extinguished by midnight. No cutting of trees is
allowed in the campground or adjoining properties. Firewood is available
in the shed down at the campground ($6.00).
-
- Garbage:
Please bag your garbage and use the garbage can nearest to your site.
Only household generated garbage should placed in the cans. This is our
home and we take pride in the cleanliness of our park. Please do not
litter. This includes cigarette butts! Empty bottles and cans can be
recycled and are collected in special designated bins.
-
- Grey/Black
water dump: At Horse Creek
Ranch we don’t have a dump available, so please don’t dump any grey or
black water on the campground.
-
- Parking:
All guests must park on the assigned sites. Speed limit is
